Hello and welcome to The Dog Ranch! We are an in-home dog training and boarding business located in the Hereford Zone of Northern Baltimore County. We provide a safe, fun and loving environment for your dog to immerse themselves in obedience training, behavioral modification skills, proper socialization skills and more. Founding Owner
Hello, my name is Juliann Elmco and I am the owner and founder of The Dog Ranch. I have grown up with dogs by my side since I was born. If you asked my younger self what I wanted to do when I grew up, my answer was always "something with dogs!"
After I graduated college, I moved back home into my parents house and started my dog business. Shortly after that, my parents told me it would be best to find my own place to board dogs :)
I found a small cottage on a farm with a great family who let me expand my dream of caring for and working with dogs!
After a few years I got into my first home and continued to welcome dogs into my life and care and watch over them as they were my own while the owners were away.
The business continued to grow and so did my own family. We moved to a bigger house with a dog-focused environment to the delight of our dog friends and owners - we are so thankful for all of our clients! With our bigger home and property, we are now able to offer new services which include obedience training and behavior modification!
Mission
Our Mission is two-fold,
1.) To help owners and their dog(s) build a strong, healthy relationship, communicate efficiently and live a full orderly life together.
2.) To extend the care and love you have for your dog(s) into our home during their stay.
