About Us
Hello and welcome to The Dog Ranch! We are and in-home dog training and boarding business located in the Hereford Zone of Northern Baltimore County. We provide a safe, fun and loving environment for your dog to come and immerse themselves in obedience training, behavioral modification skills, proper socialization skills and more. We offer a variety of different services including board and train packages all the way down to regular boarding services. Founding Owner
Hello, my name is Juliann Elmco and I am the owner and founder of The Dog Ranch. I have grown up with dogs by my side since I was born. If you asked my younger self what I wanted to do when I grew up, my answer was always "something with dogs!"
After I graduated college, I moved back home into my parents house and started my dog business. Very shortly after that, my parents told me I had to find my own place to board dogs versus bringing them into their own home haha! I then found a small cottage on a farm with a great family who let me expand my dream on working with dogs!
After a few years I bought my own home and continued to welcome dogs into my home and watch over them as they were my own while the owners where out on vacation and such.
The business continued to grow and so did my own family. We then moved into a bigger house and our business continued to grow even more - and we are so thankful for all of our clients! With our bigger home and property, we are now able to offer new services which include obedience training and behavior modification!
Mission
Our Mission is two-fold,
1.) To help owners and their dog(s) build a strong, healthy relationship, communicate efficiently and live a full orderly life together.
2.) To extend the care and love you have for your dog(s) into our home during their stay.
